Tom Longhurst is a photographer specialising in Landscape, Animals, Portraiture and Post-Production and is based within the UK currently.
Tom begun his path into photography at the age of sixteen. Purchasing a simple point-and-shoot compact camera, photographs became a huge interest for him.
Capturing photographs as a hobby, Tom produced a portfolio of some of his shots, which he then used to apply to pursue photography at a degree level, despite having no qualifications in art or photography.
Tom continued his photography more seriously, as he persevered a BA(Hons) Photography at the University of Hertfordshire. Purchasing a DSLR vastly contributed to his skills and increased his passion for image production.
Tom’s aspiration is to one day travel the globe, capturing the essence of places, people and wildlife as he finds the contrast of different corners of the world compelling.
